Tooth bonding is a simple cosmetic procedure which has many, many different applications. Basically, any minor scratch, chip, crack or dent on a tooth can be repaired using tooth bonding, and it only takes about half an hour.

Teeth bonding involves the application of a tooth-colored, putty-like resin. The resin is spread on the tooth, filling in the crack or chip. A special dental laser is then used on the resin. The laser light hardens the resin and, basically just like that, your tooth has a new, shiny, damage-free appearance.

Tooth bonding is a relatively quick and easy procedure. There is no pain, so there's no need for anesthesia. However, be aware - the end result is largely determined by the skill of your dentist. Teeth bonding is as much an art as it is a science.
